Today, you will write.
Perhaps you will journal. Perhaps you will spend 5 minutes scribbling on a napkin. Perhaps you will tap thoughts into your phone, or sketch out notes for a story idea, or do some editing.
But today, you will write, in some capacity.
The goal is not to finish. The goal is not to write anything “good.” The goal is to unleash your creativity, and leave the ‘shoulds’ behind, and see where the adventure takes you.
The goal is to unearth whatever form of joy writing first gave you when you discovered it ages ago – whether that was using your imagination, or seeking catharsis, or discovering beauty, or waxing poetic...
Today you will set aside this time like a little gift for yourself.
Today, you will write.
See below for a handful of writing prompts to get the juices flowing – and tomorrow we welcome our first guest author!
See you tomorrow x

I *literally* was just looking at the calendar, wondering when this nudge would arrive, before procrastinating for 30 mins 😂 perfect, perfect timing ❤️ my writing during this challenge (I was too sick/tired during Jami’s and only got two days done) will be margin notes as I read through my memoir draft! Glad we’re in this together.
